Born in Nidghatta, Mandya District, Karnataka State, India on 20.01.1957
Currently retired and lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka

I'm an artist previously working as a Lecturer in Dept. of Graphics, CAVA Mysore since 1986. I was also the in-charge HOD of the Painting Department. Currently, I am retired and spend my time painting and teaching private classes.
CAVA or Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts was established in 1982 at Mysore by the Government of Karnataka on the basis of the recommendations of the Dr. Roerich Committee, setup in 1976. The proposed Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts was envisaged by the Committee as a successor institute to the C.T.I. to carry forward its traditions of excellence & manifestation of visual arts, both traditional and contemporary. Department of Graphic was established in 1982 and the department has successfully served the cause of Graphic printmaking education in India.
